DJ WoodDJ WOOD THE 12" KING
spins: old-school hip-hop, funk/soul/R&B, 70s, 80s, classic rock

I grew up in a household of music lovers who all have an enormous music collection. I didn’t get into learning the art of turntable wizardry until 2002, at the age of 30 ( most DJs start in their teens) but I picked it up fairly quickly. My studying began in November 2002 under the tutelage of (Da Fly) D-Ex, long-time friend, host of Deep Krate Radio on 88.1 FM KDHX, and member of The Wax Murduraz DJ Crew. My 1st public gig was in October 2003.

Venues I have performed since October 2003
