About Katie Hubbard
Katie Hubbard is a singer songwriter based in St. Louis, Missouri. Her writing and performing are a culmination of years of absorbing the connection and beauty of local musicians, and her own family of fireside guitarists and church songbirds. Katie released, Slow Down, Child, her debut album in 2022 and continues to write, record, and share the sounds that flow from her soul. Her music is eclectic. It nods to her roots with melodies reminiscent of the sixties and seventies, gospel soul, and love for today’s Americana singer songwriters. With a soothing voice and cleverband, Hubbard’s storytelling original music and samples of fun covers of her favorite artists, transports you to a place of joy.
At the Duck Room, Katie brings back her wildly talented band (also incredibly modest) with John Hopkins on lead guitar, Josh Steinnman on bass, and Josh Carrico on drums. In a stunning turn of events, the stage will also be graced by St. Louis’ very favorite singer extraordinaire, Emily Wallace with support from local guitar legend Ethan Jones. It’s a great time to be in St. Louis!
