Mission Taco Joint 10-Year Anniversary Party
featuring My Posse in Effect - A Live Tribute to the Beastie Boys , DJ Mahf
Mission Taco Joint, the West Coast-style taco restaurant concept, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with a throwback party at Delmar Hall on Thursday, April 6. Right down the street from the original Mission Taco Joint on the Delmar Loop, guests will experience a night of tacos and entertainment from My Posse in Effect, a seven-piece band that performs decades of Beastie Boys music, excites crowds and transports them back to a more carefree time. With three MC’s, a DJ and visuals from iconic music videos, the band replicates an authentic Beastie Boys experience, putting on a dynamic show that gets audiences moving.
All proceeds of all ticket sales will go to Friends of Kids with Cancer, a local non-profit devoted to enriching the daily lives of children undergoing treatment for, and survivors of, cancer and blood-related diseases. Mission Taco Joint’s food truck will be parked outside the venue for concert-goers to purchase tacos before heading into the party. The bar at Delmar Hall will open at 6:00 p.m. with the venue opening at 7:00 p.m. DJ Mahf will get the party started with tunes at 8 p.m. in the lounge and bar area before My Posse in Effect begins their set at 8:30 p.m. For the most up-to-date show information, visit Mission Taco Joint’s Instagram page here.
