About Saba
A successful independent artist, Saba has rooted his career in an authenticity and musicality that’s made him one of his generation’s most important and unique voices in rap. Saba’s most recent career highlights include performing at the United Center arena for Chance the Rapper’s Acid Rap Anniversary, playing two weekends at Coachella, and touring the US, Europe and Africa in support of his album Few Good Things. This year, Spotify has included Saba’s critically acclaimed CARE FOR ME album amongst it’s “Spotify Classics: Hip-Hop & R&B Albums of the Streaming Era” campaign (which includes Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler the Creator and more) with billboards across LA and NYC.
Saba began making music at age 9 and was writing and producing songs by early adolescence. Building a recording studio in his grandmother’s basement on the west side of Chicago, he and a group of neighborhood friends formed their Pivot Gang collective. In 2019, J. Cole tapped Saba for the Dreamville collaboration album Revenge of the Dreamers III, in which Saba earned his first RIAA Gold certification for the song “Sacrifices.” That same year, Saba, Noname and Smino announced the creation of their Midwest super-group Ghetto Sage with the release of...
About KaiCrewSade
Kaicrewsade (Makhi Miller) is a 22-year-old rapper, singer, and cultural storyteller from Chicago’s West Side, weaving together the soulful grit of jazz, the bounce of Southern funk, and the raw honesty of hip-hop. Raised between Chicago and Mississippi, Kaicrewsade pulls from a wide musical lineage — think George Clinton’s funkadelic freedom, Roy Ayers’ buttery grooves, and the poetic urgency of artists like Noname and Saba. Kaicrewsade first turned a few heads with Steve’s Demo, an intimate, jazz-laced EP recorded at just 18. Since then, he’s carved out a lane that’s entirely his own — introspective but
celebratory, socially conscious yet sonically adventurous. His 2024 mixtape, Yvette, was a breakout moment, featuring collabs with Lance Skiiiwalker, femdot., Nico Segal, and theMIND. Tracks like, “Let’s Get It!” and “RIP Rashad Harden,” show a fearless fusion of storytelling and sonic experimentation. In between releasing projects, he keeps his fans engaged with singles and short packs.
Off the mic, Kaicrewsade is a community organizer and founder of a local poetry club, Kai Poetry Club, that uplifts youth voices across Chicago. His mission is to create a safe space thatfeel like home — bold, honest, and rooted in vulnerability.
Most recently, his most...
