About Fivefold
Fivefold was founded in 2007 by Derrick Huskey, Matt Benne, Ryan Cheney, and Jesse Berlin – a group of teenagers who sought to change the world with their music. In 2010 the self-titled EP was released, making a splash that would eventually become a tide. The band began to land some great show opportunities through hours of rehearsing, writing, and scheming.
In 2011, the band began recording their first full-length album, “The Story,” in honor of their late mentor/manager Jim Story. When nearing completion of the record, in January of 2012, Jesse Berlin suddenly passed away in his sleep due to unknown causes. About Atypical
Atypical is a hard rock and alternative metal band from Kansas City, blending soaring melodies, heavy riffs, and real emotion. The lineup, Rachel Cartwright (lead vocals), Trevor Cartwright (vocals & bass), Dakota Barrett (lead guitar), Drake Ogle (rhythm guitars) and Robbie Pointer (drums), first came together in June 2021 when Robbie invited some friends to jam at his birthday party. They started out mixing covers with their own songs, but in April 2024, they took a leap, focusing solely on original music. That’s when things really took off. Since then, they’ve shared stages with bands like Red, Adelitas Way, Icon For Hire, Kingdom Collapse, and more, bringing their high-energy shows to bigger audiences. Their single Prove You Wrong racked up over 50,000 streams in just three months, and their 2024 Spotify streams topped 100,000, reaching listeners worldwide.
Atypical’s journey has also earned them spots as one of Missouri’s Top 5 Rock Bands (2022 & 2023) and a performance at the AMMA awards. Now, they’re channeling that momentum into their debut album, crafting...
